LOT OF 8: 6 USMC FLIGHT JACKETS AND 2 FLIGHT SUITS

Lot consists of: 6 Cold War USMC and flight jackets and 2 flight suits. (A) Greenbrier Industries CWU-45/P flight jacket dated 1973. The jacket is ID'D to VMFA-232 Captain K. Nakatsuka. The jacket is adorned with Nakatsuka's name strip with pilot wings and various VMFA-232 patches which are machine sewn to the jacket. CONDITION: Zipper is functioning and the jacket is very clean with no tarnishing or loose stitching. Overall excellent (B) Type G-1 flight jacket manufactured by Ralph Edwards Sportswear Inc. marked size 42. The jacket is ID'D to Captain Tom Knowles. The jackets is adorned with Knowles' leather nametag, and various USMC squadron patches, some of which are theater made all machine sewn to the jacket. CONDITION: Leather is soft and pliable, no fur loss on the collar. Zipper is functioning and the jacket is very clean with a few small scattered paint stains. Overall excellent. (C) Type G-1 flight jacket marked size 42. The jacket is ID'D to CH-53 crew chief D.W. Conklin. The jacket is adorned with various USMC squadron patches on the front and back, all are machine sewn to the jacket. CONDITION: Leather is soft and pliable, no fur loss on the collar. Zipper is functioning and there are a few scattered scuffs in the leather with one small hole above the right side pocket that does not penetrate the liner. Overall very good. (D) Type G-1 flight jacket manufactured by Star Sportswear MFG. Co. marked size 44. The jacket is adorned with various USMC patches which are all machine sewn to the jacket. CONDITION: Leather is soft and pliable, no fur loss on the collar. Zipper is functioning and the jacket is very clean. Overall excellent. (E) Type G-1 flight jacket manufactured by Ralph Edwards Sportswear Inc. marked size 40. The jacket displays a Patron 8 squadron patch. CONDITION: Leather is soft and pliable, no fur loss on the collar. Zipper is functioning and the jacket is very clean. (F) Type G-1 flight jacket manufactured by Star Sportswear MFG. Co. CONDITION: Leather is soft and pliable, no fur loss on the collar. Zipper is functioning and the jacket is very clean. (G) Type CS/FRP-1 fire resistant summer flight suit marked size 38. CONDITION: Zipper is functioning, very clean with no rips or tears. Overall excellent. (H) MIL-S-5390B khaki summer flight suit manufactured by Dexton Clothes Co. marked size 38. CONDITION: Zipper is functioning, scattered stains throughout. Overall good. JD
