Lot consists of: USMC drum majors baldric, black wool backing embroidered with the Marine Band's crest and Marine Corps' battle honors. Edged with patterned gold tape, double sided, the face with the motto "The Commandants Own" of gold bullion embroidery edged with gilt brass wire on a red wool scroll. Continuing down the sash and on the reverse are forty five red wool scrolls with gold bullion embroidered battle honors also edged in gilt brass wire, ending with "Somalia 1992-1994". Backed with black vinyl. CONDITION: Excellent showing no wear. B) Marine band red tunic of recent manufacture, with black chest frogging, Marine buttons and white shoulder knots with braided cords attached. CONDITION: Excellent. C) Marine band blue wool tunic with black tape front, Marine buttons and white shoulder knots with attached cords. CONDITION: Very good with minor wear. D) Two large banners reading "United States Marine Band Stadium Sept 21". CONDITION: Very good with moderate wear. E) Pre-WWI red wool band tunic with black wool decorations and black wool cap with velvet band, directly embroidered "SOUSA" over an American eagle. CONDITION: Tunic excellent, cap sweat band is detached. DG
