Lot consists of: (A) Painted USMC Duffle bag ID'D to R.C. Derosier, USMCR. One side has a beautiful painted USMC EGA with a white border and is surrounded by various locations and ships that Derosier was on during his time in the Marines. The other side is decorated with his name and 5th Amphibious Corps insignia. CONDITION: The bag displays blemishes that are typical of a duffle bag that was lugged around the Pacific. The bag has a nice weathered "been there" look and the blemishes do not disrupt the artwork. Overall very good. (B) Painted USMC Duffle bag ID'D to G.A. Willy, USMC. One side has a crudely painted 2nd Marine Division insignia that is flanked by a list of locations where this marine traveled throughout the war. The other side has a painted 6th Marine Division insignia in a diamond. There are words painted in the diamond that read "Forgotten Bastards Tsingtao China" with "Asiatic" painted underneath. CONDITION: This bag also displays blemishes that are typical of a duffle bag that was lugged around the Pacific. The bag has a nice weathered "been there" look and the blemishes do not disrupt the artwork. Overall good. (C) Painted USMC Duffle bag ID'D to J.J. Mjelnik, 1st Marine Division, 3rd Marines. One side has Mjelnik's name, company, division, and regiment which has been crudely added with black paint. The other side has a list of locations where Mjelnik was during the war which is also painted with black paint. CONDITION: Like the others, this bag also displays blemishes that are typical of a duffle bag that was lugged around the Pacific. The bag has a nice weathered "been there" look and the blemishes do not disrupt the artwork. Overall good. JD
