Manufactured in 1930, this Colt Officer's Model Target is chambered in .22 LR and is a first year production gun. The left side of the barrel is stamped "COLT OFFICERS MODEL .22 LONG RIFLE" with the Colt two line address across the top. This revolver features all blue finish, with a partridge front sight and windage adjustable rear sight. Rampant colt logo is present on the left side of the frame. Backstrap and trigger are checkered. Revolver is mounted with Colt gold medallion checkered wood grips. CONDITION: Excellent, with all metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting only minute areas of wear on the front off the butt, cylinder crane, and either side of the muzzle. Cylinder has a light drag line, and inside of latch shows some silvering from operation. Mirror bore with well defined rifling present throughout. Checkered wood grips are excellent, showing some light smoothing to some of the checkering, and few minor handling and storage marks. A fine, high condition example of a first year production Colt Officers Model Target revolver. -MLW-
