Manufactured in 1926, this Colt New Service revolver features all blue finish and is mounted with replacement 2 piece Colt black hard rubber grips. The 7 - 1/2" barrel features a fixed blade front sight with a notched rear sight. The trigger is smooth, with the hammer being checkered. The left side of the barrel is marked "NEW SERVICE 38 W.C.F.", with Colt's 2 line address across the top. The left side of the frame bares the Rampant Colt logo. CONDITION: Metal component retain large amounts of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear all around. Grip straps retain traces of their original factory blue finish, with the balancing turning a brown patina. Mirror bore, with well defined lands and grooves throughout. Colt black hard rubber grips are replacements, and are hand written "325176" on the interior of the panels. -MLW-
