A beautiful and early Tiffany Studios leaded glass lamp circa 1905. The 14” diameter shade features the classic leaf and vine pattern. The leaves are comprised of soft green streaked glass with delicate swirls and subtle stippling. The foliage is laid against a geometric background of mottled and stippled clambroth white glass, accented by creamy oranges, artfully concentrated near the aperture. The shade is in excellent condition with no missing or loose tiles, and just a small number of tight hair line heat cracks. The shade features an early micro tag reading "Tiffany Studios New York". Sitting on the base, the lamp measures 18” tall to the top of the shade. The shade sits atop a gorgeous Tiffany Studios bronze and Favrile glass base. The three-arm base features a single socket with chain pull. The collar and foot of the base are finished in a rich reddish-brown patina, while the body of the base is a striking piece of translucent ovoid favrile glass with alternating bands of varying opacity. The base is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs to the glass, and some loss to the patina concentrated on the arms. Base is signed "Tiffany Studios New York 638D".
