W. Richards side by side hammer shotgun made in England and imported by various hardware stores here in America circa the late 1800's. Damascus barrels with smooth concave rib marked "W. Richards Fine Twist" with bead front sight and extractors. Case hardened round frame with back action locks marked "W. Richards" with double triggers. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with bakelite buttplate and grip cap. Walnut checkered splinter forearm and horn inlay. CONDITION: Overall poor with metal fading to a silvery patina. Both or one of the hammers are replacements since they do not match. Wood has been cleaned with small repair on forearm inlay. Frosted lightly pitted bores with functioning mechanics. Forearm has added piece of cloth to tighten when attached. DLM
