Hamilton Model 22 Marine Chronometer Watch with nickel damascened movement engraved “Hamilton Watch Co / Model 22 – 21 Jewels / Adj. To Temp. & Pos./Made in U.S.A /U.S. Navy BU Ships – 1942/2F 12379”. White dial with Arabic numerals, up/down indicator, seconds dial and marked “Hamilton Watch Co. / Lancaster, Pa., U.S.A.”. Housed in aluminum shipping container marked “Shipping Container For Gimbal Chronometer Watch". CONDITION: Watch is in excellent running condition. Container shows moderate wear. Included is a brass bound dual mahogany box with front plate marked “Hamilton Watch Co. / Lancaster, Pa., U.S.A.”, for use with a Marine Chronometer. The box measures 7-3/8" X 7-3/8" and 7-1/4" high.
