The unmarked round barrel is deeply rifled and has a small brass front sight and a tombstone-shaped tang. The flat lockplate is stamped "W / KETLAND / & Co." in the center. The brass furniture includes small 2 piece sideplate, French style trigger guard, and an open-ended nosecap. Stocked in partially figured walnut with a silver oval-shaped wrist escutcheon on top. Complete with original wooden ramrod with steel worm at tip. CONDITION: Barrel retains a brown patina. Lock appears to be a good professional reconversion and retains a freckled grey patina. Brass retains a mellowing patina. Stock shows scattered marks from use and a piece is replaced between back of lock tang and barrel tang. A nice rifled Kentucky pistol. DMG
