French, circa 1870. Movement signed: "Planchon Au Palais Royal" for Mathieu Planchon whose clocks were retailed on the Palais Royal. Silvered brass case in the Gothic style with applied decoration, including faux double bell dome with a pierced brass engraved dial. Morphy's Auctions does not guarantee clocks to be in working order.
