Lot consists of: (A) Smith & Wesson Model 1905 4th change double action revolver. Made c. 1930's. "S&W" Monogram on the left side of the frame. Standard patent dates on the top of the barrel. Matching serials on the butt, barrel and cylinder. Matching assembly numbers on the frame and on the crane. 6" barrel with half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Original blued finish and case hardened frame and hammer. Square butt. Original checkered wood grips with no monogram. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with some scuffs and wear on the barrel. Grips have a few minor handling marks and dings. Bore is clean with very good rifling. Hammer and cylinder are tight. Sharp timing. Light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. (B) Smith & Wesson Pre Model 10 double action revolver. Made post war; late 1940's. Standard patent dates on the top of the barrel. Large "S&W" monogram on the right side of the frame. Matching serials on the butt, barrel and cylinder. Matching assembly numbers on the frame and crane. 6" barrel with half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Original blued finish. Square butt. "S&W" monogram checkered wood grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with some wear and handling marks. Grips have some handling marks and scratches. Bore is clean with sharp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
