Archival framed and matted typed letter by President Theodore Roosevelt. Letter measures 13 1/2" x 8 1/2". Framed with images of Roosevelt and President Benjamin Harrison. Overall 33 1/2" x 16 3/4". Letter is dated November 11th, 1901 The White House and is addressed to Colonel Russell B. Harrison Indianapolis, Indiana. Letter is notated Personal in the upper left corner. Then newly elected President Roosevelt acknowledges a piece written about him by President Harrison and states , " I am very proud to have been brought into the field of National politics by the appointment at your father's hands". The letter goes on to discuss the appointing of a Judge and Roosevelt's thoughts on the qualities of this individual. CONDITION: Excellent. CG
