A Der Stahlhelm organization gorget. The gorget is made of an aluminum base metal with a separately attached center emblem constructed of brass. The emblem features the "Der Stahlhelm" organizations symbol of the German helmet, surrounded by Imperial German Standards. The gorget is named to the Ortsgruppe "Glatz". Light patina can be seen throughout. The reverse of the gorget is lined with a feldgrau wool, with no visible damage. The chain keeper and elongated aluminum chain hook are intact. A full length silver plated steel gorget chain is originally attached to the gorget. CONDITION: Excellent. D.W.
