Lot consists of (A) L.C. Smith No. 1 Grade side by side shotgun made in Fulton, New York by the Hunter Arms Company in 1899. Damascus Steel barrels with matted rib, bead front sight, and extractors. Case hardened sidelock action scroll engraved in the "No. 1" Grade style with automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with half pistol grip and black hard rubber buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with ebony inlay. CONDITION: Overall poor with heavy surface corrosion, sticky mechanics, and missing trigger plate screw. Bores are poor. (B) Montgomery Wards/Western Field made boxlock side by side shotgun made by the Ithaca Gun Company, Ithaca, New York circa the late 1940s. Blued steel barrels with matted rib and bead front sight. Case hardened boxlock frame with double triggers, extractors, and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with black hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: Fair condition with excessive surface corrosion. Good bores with functioning mechanics. DLM
