1918 manufactured Winchester Model 1892, serial number 868453. 24" octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Standard front sight, with rear sight cut off. Chambered in .25-20 WCF. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Marbles tang sight. Crescent rifle style buttplate. CONDITION: Fine with 90% of original blue on barrel and magazine. Frame has flaked to a mostly a grey/brown patina. Bore is excellent with strong rifling. Action is tight and crisp. Stocks show moderate wear with scattered dents and bruises. Bore is dark and frosted. JTH
