A very early and clean restored Model 21. Built pre-War with blued barrels and semi-concave checkered wide rib, with mid bead and round brass front bead foresight. Left barrel is marked "WINCHESTER - 16 GAUGE 2 3/4 CHAM.". Underside of left barrels is marked "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL WS-2". Underside of right barrel is marked "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL WS-1". Barrel flats are marked with serial number and Winchester proof marks. Action bottom is marked "SKEET". The gun is well equipped with a beavertail forend and with nice checkering. Stock has a straight hand grip with fine checkering, over 1" leather pad. The actions water table reads "Made in U.S.A. Model 21 Winchester Repeating Arms Co New Haven, Conn.", stamped with the Winchester proof and USA patents. A single selective mechanical trigger with nicely timed ejectors and non-auto safety. CONDITION: Very good as restored. 85% plus blue with some handling marks on the barrels and action. Stocks have only the slightest of handling marks. Bottom tang is intact but slightly bulged. Mechanically sound. JTH
