Rare Ithaca Grade "1" side by side shotgun built by the Ithaca Gun Company, Ithaca, New York in 1919. This massive gun weighs 10 lbs 3.8 oz! Nitro proofed Damascus steel barrels with matted rib, bead front sight, and extractors. Barrels marked on flats "4" and "4". Case hardened Flues Grade "1" style boxlock action with heavy floral pattern engraving with double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and Ithaca logo hard rubber buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: 70% remaining Damascus scene with 60% fading case colors. Wood has two small cracks behind action with added coat of finish over some usage dings and marks. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
