Springfield M2 bolt action rifle, barrel dated "7-43". 24" round barrel chambered in .22 Long Rifle with blade front sight and Redfield military style adjustable match peep sight. 1 piece finger grooved plain walnut stock with single barrel band and checkered steel buttplate. "AAC" cartouche on left side of stock with "P" marking on bottom of grip. CONDITION: Very good, with most of the arsenal reapplied bluing remaining. Stock is good with large crack through the wrist, and handling marks throughout. Missing barrel band retaining pin. Magazine latch is pushed in to bottom metal but will still work correctly. Redfield rear sight is a replacement, and stock is still inletted for original rear sight. Action works correctly when cycled by hand. Bore has some darkness in the grooves but retains sharp rifling.
