Extremely rare original wooden Lewis 47 round pan magazine box with 14 British .303 caliber pan magazines. 8 of the magazines retain World War II era corrosive ammunition, so this lot will need to be shipped ORM-D unless it is picked up locally. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish of magazines range from very good to extremely fine original finish showing loss of finish to gray patina. All pans appear to be fully serviceable. Wood box is unrestored with original green paint. A very nice grouping of pan magazines for the .303 Lewis machine gun collector/enthusiast. JWK 2021-04-018
