SSP. Sign is Maker Marked Burdick - Chicago. A very unique piece of porcelain signage for the Illinois Central Railroad. Sign is in outstanding condition, showing excellent color & gloss throughout the entire field with only a couple of faint surface scratches in the red porcelain. Sign shows a very well done touch up in the blue outer edge just above the AL of Central. Sign shows both of its original Zinc grommets and overall displays outstanding. A very rare and unique piece of porcelain signage.
