SST. Sign is Maker Marked American Art Sign Co. An excellent example of this early sign from American Express Company, advertising Money Orders, Travelers Checks & Letters of Credit Paid & Sent By Telegraph. Sign is in very good condition, showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with unique script. Sign shows a few minor areas of surface scuffing and paint scratching but overall fairly clean. The outer edge shows some minor areas of paint loss and denting but overall very nice. The paint is very sound on the sign and is bright and clean and should clean up even better. Overall an excellent piece of early American Express Advertising.
