An early, double guard model of flat steel cage construction, embossed "N.P.R.R.", with the correct fount and No. 1 functioning ratchet burner affixed. Globe is a flashed red, extended base No. 39 style that is nicely copper wheel engraved "M.W. - N.P.R.R". Frame has original patina. Globe is a nice medium ruby, not too dark, and has a few base fitter flakes exposing clear glass. A real nice example.
