Monumental Rookwood silver overlay vase with brown and green leaves and embossed purple flowers. Heavy sterling overlay with birds and flowers. An amazing piece of artwork pottery by artist Albert Robert Valentien, 1881 - 1905. Marked "#589", "Silver by Gorham" on bottom and signed with initials "ARV/L". No damage, repairs or silver losses. 18" T x 5" Dia.
