Circa 1893. Model A1. A 30" Damascus steel barrel with concave machined filed rib with third fastener extension, ejectors and choked Full & Full. Rib reads "HUNTER ARMS CO. MAKERS FULTON N.Y.". Sidelock action with double triggers and disk set strikers. The action is engraved with scrolls and with game scenes featuring dogs pointing on the lockplates and 2 snipe on the trigger guard. The round knob grip walnut stock and splinter fore-end have point pattern checkering, butt end has an orange rubber recoil pad. CONDITION: Barrels have a couple of scratches in finish, front bead snapped below rib, bores are bright and shiny. Barrels are slightly loose. 30% case colors remain on action metal work. Checkering worn from use on both forend and buttstock. Handling and storage marks. The rubber recoil pad is deteriorating and has hardened. CP
