Standard configuration SKS semi-automatic rifle manufactured at the Tula arsenal in 1954. Receiver cover bears the Tula arrow in a star emblem above "1954r". Stock bears a faint Tula arsenal stamp above "1953r". "C.D.I." import stamp is present on the right side of the receiver. Small Soviet arsenal proofs are present on most exterior components. All numbers are arsenal matching, with the extractor, piston, and gas cylinder are matched via electro-pencil. Spike type bayonet, cleaning rod, and butt trap cleaning kit are present. Complete with Russian canvas web sling. CONDITION: Very good overall, with metal components retaining the majority of their arsenal blue finish, showing some nicks and marks from handling and storage. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined lands and grooves throughout. Stock is very good as refurbished, showing a few handling marks and impressions, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. An attractive Soviet manufactured SKS rifle. MLW
