Winchester Third Model 1873 in rare .22 Short caliber made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1894. Blued round rifled barrel with sheared blade front sight and notch adjustable rear sight. Blued third model frame with serrated dust cover and no loading gate. Blued full magazine with loading lid on tube. Walnut plain stock with steel crescent butt and walnut plain forearm. CONDITION: Meatal fading to a brown patina with light handling marks and dings. Dark oil soaked appearance on stock with handling marks and dings. Dark pitted bore with good mechanics. DLM
