1903 vintage Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle, serial number 130086. 24" round barrel chambered in .33 Winchester Center Fire complete with half length magazine tube, rifle rear sight, and ramped bead front. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm with rifle forearm cap and checkered steel shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Very good with most of an old refinish remaining with the balance fading to a gray patina from heavy cleaning. Circular area of pitting on left side of receiver measuring about 1 - 1/2" x 2". 2 piece stock and forearm are excellent as refinished with no major signs of distress. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand. Bore has some darkness in the grooves and moderate abrasion throughout but well defined rifling. TON
