1881 vintage Winchester Model 1876 rifle, serial number 17848. 28" octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Elevator rear and fold down globe combination front sights. Chambered in .45-60 WCF. Blue with case hardened lever and hammer. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Rifle style crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very good with an overall brown/grey patina. Scattered areas of cold blue. Action operates correctly. Bore is dark. Wood has been sanded with scattered dents and scrapes. 2 cracks on the wrist at the frame. MKS
