Dovetailed blade front sight with notch rear sight on tang. Octagonal barrel that had breech cut when converted to percussion and gold inlaid band added to breech. Lock signed "ROBERTSON" and accented with light scroll. Set trigger. Tang and trigger guard engraved en suite. Schnable tipped forearm stock with checkered pistol grip and flared butt. CONDITION: Very good as period converted. Barrel has chocolate patina throughout with some cleaning to bright in front of the Schnabel. Lock and trigger guard have been gently cleaned in the European fashion over some old oxidation. Wood is very good, with normal bumps and bruises throughout and a few minor chips. Some checkering heads abraded. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with a minimum of oxidation. A nice example of a pistol that someone clearly enjoyed enough to have it converted when percussion ignition became the norm. EW
