Lot consists of (A) Blued Colt Trooper double action revolver manufactured in 1958 and chambered in .38 Special. 4" round heavy barrel with red painted ramped front sight and adjustable square notch rear. Fitted with aftermarket stag grips and a Pachmayr grip adaptor. Frame has been stamped "SEATTLE POLICE" and electro penciled with a number, likely a badge or rack number. CONDITOIN: Good. Majority of thinning factory applied blued finish is retained with the expected wear of a police gun. Large spot of finish removed over Seattle Police marking, which was partially scrubbed. Bright bore with crisp rifling. Fine mechanics. (B) Lend & Lease Smith & Wesson M1917 double action revolver manufactured in 1918 and chambered in .45 ACP. Tapered round 5 - 1/2" blued barrel with half moon front sight, U-notch rear, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" mark, and British proofs. Butt marked "U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1917", with additional US and British proofs found on frame and cylinder. Frame also marked with "NOT ENGLISH MADE" stamp indicating sale from British service. Other standard features include 6-shot swing out cylinder for use with moon clips, case hardened trigger and hammer, lanyard loop, and smooth walnut service grips. CONDITION: Good. Vast majority of factory applied blue retained with moderate wear and scattered marks. Grips good with scattered marks and a few abrasions. Fine bright bore with crisp rifling. Indexes correctly. BAS
