(C) 1859 plantation life story book "The Old Plantation and Why I Gathered There in an Autumn Month" by James Hungerford. (D) 1864 US Senate "Reports of the Committee on the Conduct of the War: Fort Pillow Massacre Returned Prisoners". (E) 1896 Pre-Spanish American War accounts "The War in Cuba: Being A Full Account of Her Struggle For Freedom. (E) Convex brass 15mm Civil War Federal eagle button missing back. (F) Tin pinback button printed on front "ANDERSONVILLE SURVIVOR 1864-5/PENN MONUMENT DEC. 7, 1905" around a photo of the Pennsylvania Monument at Andersonville, commemorating its dedication. CONDITION: Books overall good to very good with some expected wear, foxing, and other signs of use and age. Brass exhibits a darkening patina with traces of gilt and is missing back.
