Shipped December 18, 1908 in a one gun shipment to Smith Sporting Goods Co. in Tucson, Arizona, when Arizona was still a territory. It is superbly factory engraved with a vine and floral motif and a punch dot background. This is a factory silver-plated gun with factory carved Ox head pearl grips. The left grip has a deep dished Rampant Colt medallion and the carved Ox head is on the right grip. None of the screw heads have been molested. It has a 2-line address on top of the barrel. ".45 COLT" on the left side of the barrel and the patent dates on the left side of the frame. All the serial numbers match including that barrel and cylinder. CONDITION: This gun has been used and carried. There are traces of silver plating in the protected areas. The Mother of Pearl grips have a few small chips that have been worn smooth. Good bore with strong lands and grooves. The engraving on the left side of the barrel has been smoothed out from holster wear. A fantastic Arizona Territory shipped Colt Single Action Army. REW
