Woodsman Match Target semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Colt in 1939. Left side of barrel is stamped "MATCH" over a bullseye with "TARGET" below and Colt's 2 line address across the top. Left side of receiver is marked "THE WOODSMAN" with the slide bearing the manufacturer and caliber information. Features include a 6 - 1/2" barrel, partridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, and a one-piece wrap around Colt checkered wood grip. CONDITION: Metal components retain the most of their original factory blue finish, showing some areas of wear, some scattered superficial handling marks, and several areas of light freckling. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grip shows smoothing and some scattered handling marks, with a a repaired split at the front of the grip. MLW
