(M) ITHACA GUN CO. MODEL MT-6 OVER UNDER SHOTGUN MADE BY PERAZZI WITH BRILEY TUBES AND CASE.

Circa 1978. Italian built competition shotgun with 27 - 1/2" blued steel barrels. Square monobloc barrels built with multi chokes, ejectors, ventilated top rib and no side rib. Top rib is stepped and file cut with round steel mid bead and Bradley style white front bead sight. Top barrel on left stamped "ITHACA GUN COMPANY - ITHACA - NEW YORK 12 GA 2 3/4 CHAMBER - MADE IN ITALY". Top barrel also stamped with "18.4" on left. Top barrel left by breech is engraved "MT6" in gold. Top barrel on right reads "CUSTOM CRAFTED BY MANIFATTURA ARMI PERAZZI". Bottom barrel stamped "KG 1.420 18.4" on left. Bottom reads "ACCIAIO SPECIAL". Barrel flats marked with Italian proofs and "103060" "MAP". The boxlock action with its black single trigger is inertia driven and is non-auto safe. Selectable tang mounted slide safe . Exterior side walls and bottom of the receiver are milled to form a striped silver appearance. Top lever is blacked with right-hand checkered thumbpiece. Top of receiver side walls stamped "103060" & "MAP" on right and "0800" on left. Straight grained European walnut stock with full pistol grip is nicely checkered and is finished with a 3/4" soft "Decelerator" black rubber pad and 3/4" black spacers. The competition forend with matching checkering has the type 4 forend iron and Deeley styled latch release. Serial number "103060" which is engraved on inner blacked iron metal. Gun is housed in a vintage aluminum Anvil Case with extra choke tubes, choke wrench, sub-gauge tube sets and spare ejectors. CONDITION: Good. Barrels retain 90% blue, rub marks from forend and scratches on top barrel left near muzzle. Action is tight and sound. Trigger operates as mechanical when bottom barrel fires first and inertia when top barrel fires first. Ejectors are strong and timed well. Stock and forend are good with some handling marks. Case good. BP
