Rare American Arms Company over under double barrel deringer with swivel breech action. Made by American Arms Company, Boston, Massachusetts from 1866 to 1878 with less than 400 made in this caliber. Nickel plated octagon rifled barrels in .41 Rimfire with twin blade front sights. 1 barrel marked with "American Arms Co. Boston, Mass." and other barrel is marked "Patent Oct. 31 1865 June 19 1866". Brass frame with silver plate finish with thumb trigger with 2 piece rosewood grips. CONDITION: 70% flaking nickel with silver entirely worn off frame. Grips in good shape with no cracks. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
