New Line .41 caliber single action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1877. Left side of barrel bears "COLT NEW 41" within an etched panel, with the top bearing Colt's 2 line address and the bottom bearing patent information above the serial number. Left side of frame is stamped "41 CAL" followed by "C". Features include a 2 - 1/4" barrel, half moon front sight, notched rear sight, and 2 piece mother of pearl birds-head grips. Matching numbers include the frame, barrel, and cylinder. CONDITION: Major metal components retain the vast majority of their reapplied nickel finish, exhibiting some areas of pitting beneath the finish and showing few superficial handling marks. Hammer and frame screws retain the vast majority of their vibrant reapplied nitre blue finish, showing a few small areas of wear. Bore is bright, showing some areas of oxidation and light pitting as well as retaining good rifling throughout. Mother of Pearl grips show some light yellowing and some nicks around the edges. A nicely refinished Colt New Line .41 caliber revolver. MLW
