Blued round rifled barrel with Winchester Address and King's Improvement markings with integral band and front sight with flip rear sight. Brass solid Carbine frame with iron saddle ring and curious marks that could be a ranch brand with full blued magazine tube. This mark is also on both sides of the frame, both sides of the buttstock and on both sides of the forearm. Gun has walnut carbine style buttstock with trapdoor for cleaning rod and walnut forearm with iron barrel band. Comes with factory letter. CONDITION: Barrel has faded to a silvery patina with light freckling. Brass has aged golden uncleaned looking patina. Wood has been cleaned with light addition of oil. Buttstock has a split from tang to half way down stock. Forearm has usage holes and marks with light coat of added finish. Dark but shootable bore with good mechanics. DLM
