Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1896. Blued full octagon Winchester barrel with sheared blade front sight and rear graduated flip sight. Casehardened solid frame receiver with plain trigger and blued full magazine. Walnut plain stock with case hardened crescent steel buttplate. Walnut plain forearm with case hardened nose cap. Comes with factory letter. CONDITION: 90% barrel and magazine tube blue with some light edge wear. 80% fading case colors with blued loading gate blue still remaining. Lever and hammer have discoloration from operation. Wood has 70% varnish with some handling marks and dings. Great bore and mechanics. A super honest Model 1886! DLM
