Lot consists of (A) USMC P1894 dress blue tunic with machine sewn corporal chevrons on each arm. There are no USMC quartermaster markings but the tunic is named to "Crossman" inside the right sleeve. The tunic retains all of its original USMC metal buttons which are marked "Horstman / Phila" on the reverse. Very clean with a few scattered moth nips. The tunic is accompanied by a period white leather belt. CONDITION: Very good. (B) USMC P1904 enlisted special full dress tunic. The tunic is stamped by the USMC Quartermaster's Depot in the sleeve and is dated 1903-1904. The name "Adams" is hand written inside the collar. Remnants of thread from the quartermaster tag remain in the collar. The tunic retains all but two of its original USMC metal buttons which are marked "Horstman / Philadelphia" on the reverse. Very clean and nearly untouched by moths. CONDITION: Excellent (C) USMC P1904 enlisted special full dress tunic that was altered to appear as an Indian Wars M1855 tunic. The tunic is stamped by the USMC Quartermaster's Depot in the sleeve and is dated 1910-1911. The original USMC buttons were replaced by US Army eagle buttons which are marked by various manufacturers on the reverse. One of the replaced buttons is missing. Very clean with a few scattered moth nips. CONDITION: Very good. JLD
