1867 vintage Colt 1860 Army percussion revolver, serial number 168968. 8" round barrel in .44 caliber with single line Colt New York address, German silver blade front sight, and hammer notch rear. Rebated cylinder. Matching serial numbers observed on butt, trigger guard, frame, barrel, cylinder arbor, cylinder, and wedge. 1 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good, with iron assemblies turned to a brown-gray patina with scattered pitting throughout. Cylinder scene is faint but still easily visible. Grips are strong, retaining most of their original finish with handling marks but no major signs of distress. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand and is tight. Bore is dark with abrasion throughout and visible rifling. TON
