Circa 1923. Dovetailed 29" blacked steel barrels with ejectors and Nitro proofed for 2 - 3/4" chambers and 1 - 1/8 loads. Barrels are fit with a smooth concave tapered rib with steel round front bead sight and doll's head rib extension. Rib reads "WILKINSON. PALL MALL. LONDON S.W. MADE BY WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co. Ltd. CONDUIT St. LONDON.". Chokes are both Improved Cylinder. The case colored grey patina boxlock scroll engraved action with fitting for doll's head extension is furnished with a single selective mechanical trigger, blued, checkered, and engraved top lever, and long serrated slide thumb safe. Trigger is protected by a full coverage scroll engraved trigger guard which extends to the guns scroll engraved full length bottom strap with the guns serial number "1359". Action is auto-safe. "WILKINSON PALL MALL" is engraved on both left and right sides of action in an oval. The English walnut stock with 2 checkered panels is built with an English straight hand grip 2 panel point checkering with borders, vacant silver oval for initials and finished by a serrated horn butt plate. The matched checkered splinter forend with Deeley release has been engraved with scrolls, interior iron metal is case colored and forend tip has been built with a horn tip. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain mostly all of a nice and professional re-black. Action, ejectors and trigger are mechanically sound. Stock and forend are very good with some handling marks. CP
