Smith & Wesson No. 3 1st Model Russian single action revolver, serial number 12042. 6 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .44 Russian with 2-line barrel address, rounded blade front sight, and barrel latch rear sight. Nickel finish. 2-piece checkered Smith & Wesson gutta percha grips. Complete with rare Russian Model factory stock in green Smith & Wesson box. CONDITION: Excellent, with a vast majority of the original nickel plating remaining with scattered age-related handling and storage marks throughout. Grips are excellent with no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine. Bore is frosted with sharp rifling. Stock fits correctly. Box is excellent with high edge wear. A high condition Smith & Wesson No. 3 Russian 1st Model with a rarely encountered factory stock. TON
