1902 vintage Winchester Model 1894 lever action saddle ring carbine, serial number 252924. 20" round barrel chambered in .25-35 Winchester Center Fire with folding leaf rifle rear sight, full length magazine tube, and blade front. Rear sight needs attention as the 100 yard graduated leaf is broken with left side missing. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Good, with virtually all of the original finish turned to an even brown patina with scattered handling marks throughout. Stock and forearm are well worn but strong with no visible signs of major distress. Tang screw has been modified to fit a Phillips head screwdriver. Action is slightly sticky but works appropriately when cycled by hand. Bore is dark with visible rifling. TON
