1907 vintage Winchester Model 1892 Trapper lever action saddle ring carbine, serial number 410488. 14" round barrel chambered in .44 Winchester Center Fire with carbine flip-up ladder rear sight, full-length magazine tube, and blade front. Two-piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with carbine buttplate with added, non-factory sling swivel in stock near trigger guard. Comes with ATF exemption letter classifying this carbine as a Curio and Relic firearm not subject to the National Firearms Act because of its scarcity and age as well as its considerable interest among collectors. CONDITION: Fair, with virtually all of the original finishes turned to a heavy brown patina and markings faint. Stock and forearm are good, with most of their original finishes remaining with heavy handling marks throughout and a crack measuring about 4" on bottom of forearm as well as a crack at forearm tip. Action is well worn and hammer will not stay in cocked position when action is cycled. Bore is dark. TON
