Lot consists of: (A) Like new 3rd Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver in original factory box serial numbered to the gun. 7 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .44-40 WCF with blade front sight, frame notch rear, and single line Colt Hartford, CT barrel address. Configuration is of the pre-1882 style with donut ejector rod head and blackpowder frame. Barrel is engraved by Master Engraver Ben Shostle (signed below left recoil shield) with scrolls about half the length of the top of the barrel near single line barrel address, gold bands at muzzle and rear near frame face as well as on ejector rod housing. Frame is color case hardened with scroll throughout and sunburst on left recoil shield. Cylinder is engraved with scroll with gold bands at rear. Three gold five-pointed stars on butt. 1-piece plain walnut grips with gold Colt medallions on either side featuring a Rampant Colt with "COLT" / "150" in the upper left-hand corner. CONDITION: Like new in original box, with virtually all of the original finishes remaining. Grips are in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Box is excellent with light high edge wear. (B) Like new 3rd Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver in original factory box serial numbered to the gun. 7 - 1/2" round barrel with single line Colt barrel address chambered in .45 Long Colt with blade front sight and frame notch rear. Engraved identically to Gun (A) in this lot by Master Engraver Ben Shostle (signed below left recoil shield), with frame being blued instead of color case hardened. 1-piece well-figured walnut grips with gold Colt medallion on either side with Rampant Colt and "Colt" / "150" in upper left-hand corner. CONDITION: Like new in original box, with virtually all of the original finishes remaining. Grips are in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Box is excellent with minor high edge wear. TON
