1921 vintage Colt Frontier Six Shooter single action revolver, serial number 341103. 5 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .44-40 WCF with single line Colt barrel address, blade front sight, and frame notch rear. Left of barrel is roll die marked "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER .44-40". 2-piece checkered gutta percha grips featuring a Rampant Colt in an oval on either side. CONDITION: Excellent with nearly all of the original bluing remaining with age-related handling marks throughout. Color case hardened frame has darkened to a dull grey with faint traces of original color. Scattered, age-related freckling throughout, especially on ejector rod housing and left of frame. Grips are excellent and well-fitting with checkering sharp. Action works correctly when cycled by hand and is tight. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. TON
