Winchester Model 12 slide action shotgun with vent rib, front and mid bead sights on a serrated vent rib from Simmons Gun Specialties Inc, Kansas City, Missouri. 2-piece walnut forearm and buttstock checkered in wave pattern with Fleur-de-Lis interjections. Receiver has been well engraved with scroll engraving on a punch dot background and accented with line shading and geometrics around a pointer in a field locking onto a bird, which is depicted on the right side in its own vignette surrounded by the same scroll and decorations. Top of receiver is matted except for a 2 - 1/4" triangle engraved en suite. Signed "ENGR. BY. DAN MARSHALL / HAZLETON PA" in front of loading gate. Jeweled bolt and carrier. Walnut stock ends in a blackline spacer and Pachmyr white line waffle pad. CONDITION: Very good as custom embellished with some very minor marks from handling and storage. Some legends are softened from rebluing after engraving. One very small area of very fine pitting on left side of barrel assembly where it meets receiver. Stocks are very good with some minor marks and a few superficial scratches. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good. EMW
