1911 vintage Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle, serial number 482450. 26" round barrel chambered in .30 Winchester Centerfire with three-leaf rear sight, full-length magazine tube, and blade front. Two-piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. Comes with a factory letter stating that the serial number was applied January 25, 1911 and that "No other information is available for this serial number". CONDITION: Excellent, with a vast majority of the original bluing remaining with minor handling marks throughout and evidence of cleaning. Stock and forearm are excellent with handling marks throughout and are strong with no discernable cracks. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is frosted with sharp rifling. TON
