Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman double action revolver. Made 1967. Right side of the frame is marked with the company trade mark and address. Right side of the barrel is marked ".357/CTG HIGHWAY/PATROLMAN", while the left side is marked "SMITH & WESSON". Matching serials on the frame and butt. Round steel barrel with full rib. Blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored serrated trigger and checkered hammer. Factory checkered wood grips with gold monogram medallions. CONDIITON: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent as well. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lock up. Light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
