1906 vintage Colt Bisley single action revolver, serial number 285068. 7 - 1/2" round barrel with blade front sight and V-frame notch rear. Aftermarket engraved in the Cattle Brand style over a punch dot background with nickel-plated finish. Featured brands include 2 Lazy 2 P, King Ranch, and many others. Date of engraving and engraver are not known. 2-piece bone aftermarket grips. CONDITION: Very good as refinished at time of engraving with virtually all of the reapplied nickel finish remaining with evidence of light pitting throughout underneath finish. Grips are ill-fitting but strong with no major signs of distress. Action indexes correctly but is loose with side and endshake. Bore is dark with visible rifling. TON
